Dan DeGon has been a developer in multiple states and strives to build long lasting relationships with clients. Dan's philosophy is to bring his knowledge, relationships, and network to simply connect buyers and sellers to maximize their potential profits. Dan’s previous portfolio was centered around commercial real estate (CRE) that originated in railroad-industrial development for storage facilities and transload locations. He continues to project manage and serve his clients across multiple CRE facets that include, but not limited to: general construction, rehabilitation projects, along with ground up development from entitlements to permitting. Dan DeGon joined the Perk Prop CRE team in 2020 and has his focus centered on bare land development for Multi Family, Build-for-Rent, Industrial, Self-Storage and Mobile Home Parks.

From childhood, Matt DeGon’s love for land was earned through the labor of love on his family’s farm – (DeGon Family Farms). At age 14, Matt and his older brother’s entrepreneurial spirit and hard work led to a hay baling business – (DeGon Bros Haying). Now dealing with land and its agriculture development, another entrepreneurial opportunity rooted new business ventures and investments in real estate. Matt also has a bachelor’s degree in applied science in Agricultural Systems from Walla Walla Community College and now uses his education for commercial developments. With the combined experiences and building reliable and retainable relationships and Matt’s drive to innovate and develop commercial real estate has brought his talents to Perk Prop. Matt feels at home (even though out of state) and continues to strengthen his skills in multiple markets. Matt resides in Washington with his family, where he is a commercial real estate broker with Perk Prop. His personal interests involve working out, spending time with family, dirt biking and fun fact, he is an avid snowmobiler.

Vanessa Bird is the pulse of Perk Prop. Coming from a strong line of employers; her employment background and work ethic with Boeing, The CIT Group Equipment Financing to Intel Corp, brought new expansion to the agency. Vanessa exudes passion, knowledge and diversity both professionally and personally. She has worked hand in hand with Danny Perkinson and team to build the foundation Perk Prop operates in, on and around today. Vanessa continues to oversee day to day details as Director of Operations and strives to meet top quality excellence in everything she does. If you know Vanessa, there is no challenge too large for her to take on and successfully execute. Her attention to detail and top-level support allows for Perk Prop to operate successfully day in and day out. Her support in ownership, leadership and management continues to encourage the team to be at its best always! Personally, Vanessa enjoys traveling regularly with her husband and children, a Disneyland fanatic and is actively supporting local animal shelters.

Chantel Gutierrez has been recognized as one of Arizona’s 40 under 40 the last 2 years and recognized as top 1% of real estate agents here in Arizona for 2021, top 3% for 2020, and top 6% for 2019. Chantel comes with a bachelor’s degree from BYU in Applied Business and 12 years in the banking sector. She worked for institutions like Mid-First Bank and National Bank as Operations Supervisor to VP of Treasury Management obtaining experience and knowledge in professional management. With these skill sets, Chantel transitioned and became a part of the Perk Prop family three years ago and continues to develop firm relationships with extraordinary client retention and loyalty. Her continued dedication and work ethic has brought many growth opportunities within the agency. Chantel is the active VP of Commercial and Residential Real Estate managing compliance, policy and regulation, drafting of contracts to fulfilling a range of marketing functions and promotions for buyers and sellers… there isn’t an industry role Chantel isn’t an expert at. Chantel’s passion and energy resonates beyond the office. Outside professional work, her personal life is filled with joy caring for her 2 kids, husband while maintaining an active outdoor lifestyle.

Alex Quarnberg has been an Arizona real estate agent for over 8 years, with the first part of her career focused on sales and leasing, where she gained extensive experience representing both tenants and landlords. During the past six years she has specialized in commercial real estate with special interests in multi-family and land development. However, with her industry knowledge and tenure she enjoys helping her clients in any area of commercial real estate. Alex has a contagious personality that makes her easy to be around and prides herself on building relationships, working hard for her clients, and always fulfilling her commitments. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, camping, going to the lake, scuba diving, and traveling with her family.

From world traveler to real estate trainer/ agent with Keller Williams International, Chris McNamaras’ 16 years in industry has taken him to over 50 US cities in over 20 states, including Canada, teaching courses to over 8,000 agents. From business coach to certified trainer, his passion continues to focus on connecting dots and building new foundations with great partners. Chris’ strong suites include coordinating, instructing, and developing. His knowledge excels with real estate internet-based client services and CRM programs for new development in internet marketing strategies and database organization courses. Chris is always thinking outside the box and enjoys reverse engineering problems to simplify steps in every project. Chris personality is entertaining, and he loves dinosaurs. Chris is married with 4 kids and in his spare time loves fishing, riding motorcycles and rocks out on both guitar and piano.

A man of many skill sets with just one title, The Matchmaker. Johnathan Jacobsen works behind the scenes and handles most of the research and analysis for the Perk Prop property acquisitions. His roots in farming, continued drive, work ethic and strong team leadership has set the tone for new standards with his land development portfolio. Johnathan has an innovative outlook on business and loves working with people that have a similar interest. His attention to detail allows for continued growth within his asset class and surrounds himself with educated agents and clients alike who understand the industry. Johnathan hungers for knowledge and industry insights, he strategizes best practices and will always strive to be the best amongst his asset class. He is well versed in graphic design, website design along with social media campaign management. When he is not in the pulling data, he stays active playing volleyball, rock climbing, fishing, and boating.

Cole Brown is the newest and youngest addition to the Perk Prop team. However, coming from the Brown & Brown family auto business, we surely see he has been seasoned with business acumen and knowledge. Cole is charismatic with a genuine personality and will put a smile on your face. He exudes performance and specializes in property research. His attention to detail gives him the ability to excel with confidence while making all efforts to be authentic and transparent with his clients. Cole is an Arizona native; he loves his state so much he wants to help you learn to love the state he loves through real estate development.

Annie Lewis, born and raised right here in the valley and is proud to be an Arizona native. Annie has many skill sets and doesn’t skip a beat; making sure internal and external communication is clear, concise, and delivered. For the last seven years she has worked as Perk Prop’s showing specialist. She is an active real estate agent even though she recently made the move to Executive Assistant to Dan DeGon in the Perk Prop commercial division. Outside the labor of love, she loves her desert home and explores much of its vast landscapes.

Juleen Nielsen is an extremely driven, outgoing and multifaceted member of the team. She is not one for accolades but deserves the recognition for her awesomeness. Juleen has only been on the team for 2 years, but her knowledge, attentive, prompt and eager to help work ethic has been instrumental as she is the one who makes sure the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed. She drives the bus home for us , while coordinating and closing all of Perk Prop real estate transactions. Outside of the day to day, she takes care of her husband and 4 kids, loves watching the kids play soccer, and would be considered and outdoor enthusiast.
